The Board of Elections in the City of New York is hiring Poll Workers to serve at poll sites across New York City. Become an Election Day Worker and you can earn up to $2,750 for working up to 10 days.

Early voting hours may vary.

5:00 a.m. until the polls are closed and results reported on Election Day, which will be after 9:00 p.m.

Must be willing to travel within the borough for assignment to a poll site
Apply for a Stand-by Position
To apply for a stand-by poll worker position:

Fill out one of the applications and return it to the Board of Elections office in the borough of your residence.

Carefully read the requirements for each position and only apply for the one you qualify.

Remember, as a stand-by poll worker you will be notified to report to work by the Board of Elections only if your services are needed.
