Ballots to be Cured

Absentee Ballots

There was a total of 3,699 Invalid Ballots that were eligible to be cured. The deadline to "cure" a ballot is 7 business days after notification, therefore, the deadline is varying.

The last day to receive a ballot was June 29th, which means the last day to cure is July 9th. However, we had ballots go from valid to curable invalid at the canvass tables during our canvass process.  This extended our deadline to cure deadline.

Ms. Sandow reported on the total amounts that expire from July 9th and beyond at our Commissioners meeting on July 6, 2021.

The schedule and absentee cure counts are as follows:

  • Cures that expire today, July 6th are 55
  • Cures that expire on July 7th are 189
  • Cures that expire on July 8th are 282
  • Cures that expire on July 9th are 131
  • Cures that expire on July 12th is 1
  • Cures that expire on July 14th is 284

Outstanding as of today, there are 942 invalid curable ballots, whose deadline to cure has not expired.
