Special Election for the 58th Assembly District of Kings County

 

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the office of the Member of the Assembly of the State of New York from the fifty-eighth Assembly District in Kings County, caused by the resignation of N. Nick Perry;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, KATHY HOCHUL, Governor of the State of New York, pursuant to Section 42 of the Public Officers Law, do hereby order and proclaim that an election for Member of the Assembly of the State of New York, in the place and for the unexpired term of N. Nick Perry, is to be held in the said Assembly district on the twenty-fourth day of May, two thousand twenty-two, and such election is to be conducted in the manner prescribed by law for an election of a member of the Assembly of the State of New York.
